Why Low Carb? Keto? Low Glycemic?

Why Low Carb?

Why Low Carb?

Whether you have blood sugar problems like insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, diabetes or if you are just trying to live healthy and maybe lose weight this is for you.

The picture shows the process that your body takes when you feed it carbohydrates. Our body requires such a little amount of carbohydrates that if you try to avoid them you will still get enough to be healthy.

Most low carb diets want you to have under 50 grams of carbs a day, if you are looking at keto then you will need to stay under about 30 grams of carbs per day.

Why is this lifestyle so successful? When your body stimulates an insulin response you will likely store fat. When your body has a steady low level of insulin you will see effects like lower blood pressure because of your excess fluid being released, less joint pain, less headaches, easier menstrual cycles, increased fat burning, more energy (after a short “detox”period), hormonal balance, better liver health, less cravings, better focus, increased energy and exercise endurance, lower bad cholesterol, possibly reverse or control diabetes and many many more great benefits.
